wake up
walls are white, room is empty
something is wrong
out of bed, but there is a bed below
and a ceiling fan on the floor
nothing is moving, silent and stopped
walk out of the room, through the door
hear a noise
slow and drowned and heavy noise
it’s voices
see the parents
they are white space and gray outlines of skeletons
want to get out
cannot scream, cannot yell
cannot scream for help
scared and stuck
someone is in the bed now
the parents are letting strangers in
the strangers take the person in the bed away
wake up
